1. The Numero Uno big-ticket item for me is
restoration of the proper scope and authority of the Office of the President.

Everything follows from that.

2. I have more than one issue.
Some listed above. But I keep thinking about Justice John Paul Stevens. He can't hang on too much longer. We can't afford another Republican win because Supreme court appointments can affect our lives for DECADES.

19. Remember FDR? Remember the NEw Deal? They were put in check. That is how we
managed to build the prosperous second half to the 20'th century. It was the answer to the "Conservative" policies that caused the last great depression.

6. The Supreme Court
The Court is setting back civil rights, workers rights, environmental protection, and so on. It must be stopped. And liberal Justice Stevens is ancient, well into his 80s.

16. Public financing of electoral campaigns. The issue to fix all issues.
As it is, electoral campaigns in this country are a legalized system of bribery. Nothing gets fixed before this gets fixed.

17. Returning our government to a representative democracy.
When the government is responsive to its people instead of special interests it serves the best interests of the country.
The most important way to get there is pubic funding of campaigns.

22. Ending the last 28 years of disastrous corporatism
including the illusion that "our" corporatists are better than "their" corporatists.
