Clinton is making sure Florida is not damaged in November for Democrats no matter WHO wins on D side |

She's a leader.
It's more important for back turner Obama to nurse his sour grapes than help avoid offending Florida Democratic voters.

9. Maybe Florida voters didn't have any say at all in whether the rules were |
|
followed or not. Blame the politicians and power brokers who made this mess, not Florida voters.
It is plain and simple that there are several power struggles going on with regard to the primaries.
And we Floridians, the voters, are caught in the middle through no action, inaction, design, or desire on our parts.
I'm damned tired of the voters in our state being used as proxies in power struggles and election thefts.

11. They didn't have a say at the time, but hopefully this next election they make a big say. |
|
I hope those delegates that go to the convention this year go back home and tell FL and MI off to the best of their abilities!

Bill Nelson ran unapposed by any Democrat during the primary season. There was a DU poster who said he was going to run against Nelson. I offered my services to him as did others, but I never heard from him and his name wasn't on the ballot.
Unfortunately, here in Florida, our usual choices are ultra conservative Republican and ultra conservative Democrat (Repub.Lite).
I've been here long enough to remember that most local and many state elections were decided by the Democratic voters during the primaries and not in the general elections. That all changed dramatically during the eighties with "Reagan Democrats" and the influx of millions of people from all over.
Now most local and many state elections are decided by Republican voters during the primaries.
I HATE what they've done to our state. And even with real estate values glurging down the drain at an alarming rate, we still have more and more housing developers coming in and clear cutting the little bit of the real Florida left... Even if the oceans don't rise and drown us, the state is dooomed by over development... not enough water, the aquafer dropping faster than real estate prices, not enough rain because all of our rain making forests are now gated communites.
Sorry. I'll climb down off my hobby horse now...

Someone needs to hold Dean and the DNC accountable for this fiasco.

3. How about the Florida legislature |
|
Holds itself accountable?
They broke the rules, they pay the price. They were given ample time to change their minds, they didn't.

They were strong-armed on this one.

10. The Florida legislature has no responsibility to follow the rules that are |
|
laid down by political parties.
They are not employed by the political parties.
And the majority of legislators are not Democrats.

7. She's either trying to break the rules or she's not. |
|
Is she making Florida free for democracy or breaking the rules the DNC set up? It's pretty obvious she's breaking the rules she promised to obey. She's just pulling a Hillary "fast one" as usual.

5. The Clintons doing what is best for the Democratic Party (or the country for |

that matter)? Now that would be a first. Pretty weak spin.

In which case he should just write off FL and MI.
