I'm sure I speak for our group, we are sorry to hear the news. Edwards provided a needed message.
There is no reason why you can't vote for your candidate if you wish to -- hang in there. :hi:

1. Thank you. How I wish Biden and Edwards were still in this. |
|
I really do. I like Clinton and Obama, but I want something different.
And I wanted John Edwards to at least fight through Super Tuesday.

I just came home and I was shocked at the news. I thought he would remain until the end. :patriot:

12. Josh_edwards07 just called me |
|
He doesn't know what to do. the Iowa Caucuses was the first time he'd REALLY been involved in the process (in 2003-4 he followed Howard Dean around with us and he's walked in parades and voted since but this year he jumped in!). He not only volunteered at Edwards HQ but he attended JJ and helped 'staff' Edwards events and knocked doors and did lit drops and made phone calls. And caucus night he ended up being a precinct captain for Edwards. He worked so hard (just like Debi, Jr. did for Joe Biden) and now... Both boys are in limbo now. What to do???

13. It really sucks when you've put your heart and soul |
|
behind a candidate and into a campaign. I remember the feeling. Takes time to heal. But your first thought isn't "who do I vote for now??" it's a process...

3. If my state's ballots are printed, I will vote Edwards |
|
Sadly, our primary is first Tuesday in June, so it seems likely the ballot will not have his name on it.
Thank you for your kind message. Biden was the other candidate I was leaning towards. I hope our nominee, when they win in November, puts Biden on the short list of prospects for State or DOD. The man is brilliant and well versed. He would serve well in either post and America and the world would be better off with him in either position. ANY DEM president would have a more productive, admirable administration with Biden as a part of it.
And Edwards would be an AG of great skill also.

Hopefully whoever gets the nomination will remember the fine group of Democrats that stood on that stage with them for the past months.

7. I supported Biden and Edwards so thank you. |
|
I miss Bidens honest straightforward intelligence and I will miss Edwards passion for the downtrodden and the middle class against the worse types of corporations.

10. Funny how media blackouts can marginalize good candidates isn't it? |
|
Although not a Biden supporter, I always believed he and Dodd got a really bum deal from the media. The two most substantial senators with real experience and track records, and they were treated almost as vanity candidates by the MSM.

Same thing happened to Wes Clark in 2004. It's really sad.
