Bloomberg has to endorse or get in the race within the next day or two. If he
wants to be a player. To me this is a test of his political skills and decision making abilities.

If waits until after 2/5 he will just be considered a bored old(rich) fart looking for something to do.

1. He has to wait until AFTER the nominees are pretty much chosen--if he
jumps in now, while the interest is on who the nominees will be, he'll get lost in the media shuffle, and he may not run at all depending on the nominees.
