I just got an interesting phone call from the Obama campaign.

A young college sounding lady called to talk about voting for Obama this coming Tuesday and to make sure we watch the debate tonight. Of course, they also asked for a donation towards the campaign. When I told her that we were supporting John Edwards she said that she thought that John Edwards was a good man and that Obama and John thought a lot a like on the issues. She also said, that the Obama campaign would be very happy to have John Edward's enthusiastic supporters join their campaign. I told her that I will see what happens after tonights debate. I am amazed at how well organized the Obama campaign is and how they are working hard to get the vote out for their candidate. Also, the young lady calling was very pleasant and seemed informed. I am still an Edwards supporter but thought the Obama people would like to hear how their people are working hard for their candidate.

It is amazing how well organized GOTV is for Obama. I'm in IL (chiburbs), so there isn't too much going on here - well, at least compared to other areas. I love reading the stories about all the volunteers, their experiences, and the excitement behind the scenes in the campaign :)

8. I am impressed with the Obama machine

we are well organized here in Savannah Georgia and have been making calls non stop for a while.

Friday and Saturday we hit the streets. Tuesday we work in the morning then party in the evening.
