Both candiates are fantastic. They're gracious and talking substance. They look comfortable on stage and comfortable with each other.

If you can't see that, you're cheating yourselves out of a proud moment.

against Insane McCain or Romney. Obama can't.

Maybe we'll have a Clinton/Obama ticket and he'll be set up to be president after her two terms.

Agreed. Thank you.

When you watch a debate like this one and see some of the bizarre extremes the fanatics of both remaining camps taken here, you know their bad reception is a result of a problem in their receiving unit. No major missteps by either. Both looking solid. No surprises, no gotcha moments.

Makes the mud-slinging and mean spiritedness on DU seem very childish and non-productive. They are both great and I will be proud to have either one as my president.

Thank you for you're fantastic review of tonight's debate. The warm and fuzzy feelings I am having as a result of reading your summary romancing the things which matter least about what was actually important about the conversation that was happening. Clearly after giving as many speeches as they do and knowing they would be the final two, they were relieved to have all the others gone. Of course they were are lovey-dovey, since they share common interests.

xoxo

34. Sad that the poor couldn't see or hear it
Here in Los Angeles if you didn't have cable or satellite or high speed internet, you couldn't get it. No over the air TV, no radio.
But NPR will broadcast tomorrow at 8.
Just doesn't seem right to me.

35. They both gave a good "performance" tonight.
My only complaint was what was NOT talked about:

*The single greatest threat to our democracy....Corporate control of our government (Obama DID mention "lobbyists" once)

*Campaign Finance Reform

*Election Integrity (BBV)

*Impeachment/holding War Criminals accountable for their actions

*BlackWatergate

*The NAFTA Failure & how to fix it

*LABOR Rights

*corporate Accountability (re-regulation of vital industries)

The Corporate Media can produce an "electrifying" performance for the Corporate Candidates.
Not much to argue about or even get uncomfortable when both candidates have the same position.
Pepsi or Coke?......Gee, I think Pepsi WON tonight!!!!! :woohoo:

Whatever bad feelings I had toward Obama are wiped clean from the slate as of this debate.
I would love it if Hillary were to be nominated but I would be so proud with either of these two representing Our Party and Our Country.

It feels really good to be a Democrat tonight.

I started watching the debate thinking I would have a clear preference for one or the other, but I was impressed with both of them. I think either one would be a great president, especially when compared to what we have now.
