1. Hillary has been fighting Publicans in Washington for 16 years |
|
the last roughly two of which were spent running for the Presidency.
Obama started running for the Presidency from almost as soon as he got to Washington three years ago.
Hillary has alot more experience on the national political stage than Obama does.

2. Clinton has stood for reelection to her seat. That's more than a 'few' years. |
|
It's a bloody six year term.
And that's just for starters, but hey, it's Wolf.

Obama entered in January 2005, a little over two years ago, Hillary entered in January 2001, a little over six years ago. One could also frame that question by saying Hillary Clinton has been in the Senate three times longer than Barack Obama.

January 2005 wasn't "a little over two years ago," it was three years ago.
Before that, he was a Senator in Illinois for eight years.
He's been a legislator for eleven years.

7. Yep. Mentally forgetting to move the calender ahead in January... |
|
...strikes again. I am still finding myself fighting writing checks dated '07.
But I wasn't ignoring Obama's earlier experience. I was just staying focused on the question that Blitzer asked, which involved the relative U.S. Senate careers of Clinton and Obama.

Sen. Clinton has been in the Senate four years longer than Sen. Obama.
Hillary was elected in 2000, Obama in 2004, no?
