Former Idaho Gov. Cecil Andrus Endorses Barack Obama

"Boise, Idaho -- One of Idaho's most revered Democrats -- former Governor Cecil Andrus -- is endorsing Senator Barack Obama for President.

Andrus says Obama has the ability to energize and inspire people, the same qualities that inspired Andrus to pursue politics after watching John F. Kennedy speak in Lewiston in 1960.

Obama will speak in Boise on Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Taco Bell Arena. Doors open at 7 a.m., and the Obama campaign encourages people to arrive early to get a seat.

You can RSVP by calling 345-6210, which will help organizers know how many people to expect."

I'm not too familiar with Idaho politics... but I have deep respect for Frank Church.
