"An endorsement rally for presidential hopeful and Illinois Senator Barack Obama will be on the steps of The Capitol in Baton Rouge at 11 a.m. Feb. 6.

Speaker Pro Tempore Karen Carter Peterson of New Orleans and other officials from across the state are expected to attend, including such Obama endorsees as Louisiana Sen. Lydia Jackson, of Shreveport ,and state Reps. Rick Gallot, of Ruston, and Avon Honey, of Baton Rouge, in addition to New Orleanians Virginia Boulet and David Voelker."
