Why does IWR matter again all of a sudden? |

Because McCain plans to beat us all over the head with it if Hillary is the nominee. "For it before you were against it," "went from supporting the war to opposing its funding," etc.
It gets to electability, and it was always one of the main reasons for Obama's candidacy.
Amazing, more than five years later, that one vote can define a presidential nominating contest. But here it is. Obama has already worked it into his closing argument and it won't be going away anytime soon.

And because he has nothing to offer on the economy and the Democrats will have him for breakfast.
