Hillary not apologizing.
I honestly don’t see a big deal with Hillary actually saying “sorry”, it doesn’t make an ounce of differences. Why should Hillary apologize for the war? She didn’t bomb Iraq, she gave Bush the authority to use military force, but it’s still Bush’s war. The one who started the bombing is Bush and the executive branch of the government

3. Don't be a Hyprocrite
You can't get pissed at Bush for never admitting his mistakes. But forgive Hillary for not admitting she messed up her biggest vote in the Senate

6. Well, a lot of people "messed up their vote."
The fellow who didn't "mess up his vote" didn't vote.

7. How am I being a hypocrite by saying Hillary didn't start the war?
There’s a difference between authorizing the executive branch to use military forces and executing that military forces.

16. Your point is illogical since her vote was NOT a vote to go to war.

4. Because she isn't sorry--the asshole who should be sorry is Bush.
People who can't deal with that aren't going to vote for her no matter what she says. They just use it as a hook to justify their dislike for her.

5. People that didn't read her statement upon making the vote ...
don't know that she EXPLICITLY said it's NOT a vote for pre-emptive war, we should NOT seek to oust Hussein ourselves, etc.

That's too complicated for most folks.

"My vote is not, however, a vote for any new doctrine of pre-emption, or for uni-lateralism, or for the arrogance of American power or purpose -- all of which carry grave dangers for our nation, for the rule of international law and for the peace and security of people throughout the world."

"A vote for it is not a vote to rush to war; it is a vote that puts awesome responsibility in the hands of our President and we say to him - use these powers wisely and as a last resort."

8. As i have said -her saying sorry at this point is nothing but fodder for the RW pundts and some
here on DU that want to see her gavel down on her knees. I am not sure that will satisfy them either--the hate seems to be too deep.

10. Apologizing at this point is a political trap.
The approach that she's using is the smartest approach to the issue.
