Okay, lets say we get our dream ticket: Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton.

Now let's say that John Edwards is put in as AG or Secretary of Labor.

There is one more person who could make this administration PERFECT! The most respected democrat in the world ... Al Gore!

So, do you think Al Gore would be willing to take a post in an Obama or Clinton administration. Especially a post working close with environmental issues? If he would take a post in an Obama or Clinton administration... what post do you think that would or should be????

as much autonomy as possible. None of this EPA crap. A REAL Environmental administration.

8. He's said he is absolutely not interested in a cabinet position.
With Larry King 5/22/07

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0705/22/lkl.01.html

Mr. Gore, given the foreign policy expertise that you have exhibited on Mr. King's show tonight and the expertise that you gave to the administration of President Bill Clinton, would you consider the secretary of state position in a Democratic presidential administration?

GORE: Thank you for your kind words, but, no.

KING: No cabinet position?

GORE: No.

11. I agree with the poster who said
a new position DIRECTLY CREATED to deal with Climate Change. I like that. Perfect for Gore to create action from within the government. Gore is one of the smartest men alive, he CAN save this planet if we allow him the power to do so!

13. BTW, that's NOT my dream ticket.

There isn't a position for Al Gore that matches his stature.

Sec of State? No.

some other cabinet post? Doubt it.

Al may well be the next Secretary General of the UN. But serving in an Obama administration? I doubt it. He's already BTDT as far as VP.

19. No cabinet post. Create a President's Special Commission on Global Protection and give Al the keys
Edited on Thu Jan-31-08 11:44 PM by Nailzberg
It would be almost an ambassador type post, where he would work with world leaders, business leaders, and environmental leaders. cCief envoy for to the White House in environmental concerns as relating to trade policy, energy policy, and of course any environmental treaties.

20. He wants no part of it!
Why would he want to even be back in the political atmosphere. All he'd have to do is take a look at DU...and he'd rather jump off a cliff.
