I loved Obama's anti-scapegoating remarks on immigration tonight

I loved Obama's anti-scapegoating remarks on immigration tonight
in response to the question about why no candidate has commented on how illegal immigrants have taken jobs away from blacks.

In so many words, he said that economic devastation in black America didn't start with undocumented workers, so don't use them as a scapegoat for longstanding problems. And he rejected the way the Republicans have been using immigration as a political tactic in very strong terms.

Most of the time politicians are focused on giving the right answer; this one was deeply felt. Got a huge round of applause as well, which wasn't all bad...
