I'm not a Hillary (political) fan, but I gotta believe she scored some points ...
... with the forlorn "he (Barack) has a spouse, too" response as the Politico questioner began to ask her about Bill.

1. She looked warm too. If she shows her good side it helps.
The media is still pushing the republican she is a B-word smears. She just one upped them on that tonight!

2. She put herself in that situation...
Having Bill be her proxy in one place while she is in another. The price you pay for having a former Pres. as a hubby.

She would be better if he stays home or only shows up with her.

4. I dunno. Bill can campaign ...
... but he just needs to be a bit more low-key and not 'cause unnecessary attention due to distorting Obama's record and negative attacks. Just get out there and talk about Hillary's positives and contributions to his Presidency.

3. That was a good comment. I like her sense of humor.

5. In a class of C students, a B- student gets an A.
Without Edwards, Hillary could score easily. But that doesn't make her an A student in a class of A students.

6. Ok. But, going with the analogy, the OP was merely commenting ...
... that her quip, and its deft delivery, may have ingratiated her with those grading her paper.

7. I only like the real thing -- and that's Edwards.
I will probably never vote for either of the other two impostors, They just don't measure up to Edwards. They are running on Edwards' ideas. What a pair of losers.

Why can't we have the best for America? Why can't we have Edwards? Why do we have to settle for the C students, for No. 2 and No. 3? Because they belong to certain special interest groups? Women? African-Americans? That makes no sense to me. The best candidate happened to be a white male. What difference does that make?

8. Ok, but a lot of purist idealists are what helped give us George W Bush in 2000.
Just something to ponder...

9. Edwards is running on John Kerry's ideas
Give it a fucking rest. There wasn't an original idea in his entire campaign. Not now, not in 2003, not ever.

10. I worked extremely hard for Kerry and was extremely
disappointed when he did not challenge the Ohio results. I became disillusioned with Kerry when I realized that he is afraid to rock the boat. Kerry and Edwards agree on a lot of issues, but Kerry is too soft. It's their class roots. Edwards is a fighter. Kerry was not. We need a fighter at this point in history.

Hillary is a fighter, but unfortunately, not for the right things (according to my values).
