Is it possible that things will go past feb 5'th? |
|
Let's say that it's pretty evenly split on tuesday. Is it possible that the post-feb 5'th states will actually influence the outcome? How likely is that to happen?

It will go into March. And possibly longer.
After Tues. they will stand nearly split, 850-875 or thereabouts.

There are no winner take all states, both will continue to win delegates on Super Tuesday and after, neither will have enough to win
The Repub are all winner take all states Tuesday, we will know who their candidate is Wednesday

I would hate to think that there was a completely foregone conclusion and my vote was symbolic because of Maryland having a late primary. If I wanted symbolic rather than a conclusive win, I'd write in Gore.
