Everyone around here has been fiercely fighting with tooth and claw. Saying things like the following:
Your candidate is worse than Bush. Your candidate is worse than Cheney
Then your candidate is Attila the Hun. Your candidate is terrible.
You must be a stupid dirt bag for ever supporting your candidate.
Well then you are a low-life right wing ignorant rat.
or something like that.
Now everyone wants a blended ticket and likes each other's candidate. :pals: :grouphug: :pals:
So what I want to know is it over? Or has a new crew arrived?
Cause I do not recognize this place.

8. So if Hillary wins, you don't want Barack as VP...it's all or nothing with you? |
|
even though it's a ticket the repukes could never beat?

That if Hillary wins (which I don't want her to), she will almost have to pick Barack.
But, if Barack wins, I don't think that it is in his best interests to pick her.

14. Why would she have to choose Barack? There's Joe Biden, Bill Richardson, |
|
Wes Clark and many others with much more experience than Barack. I think a Clinton/Obama ticket would be unbeatable, but so would a Clinton/Biden, Clinton/Richardson or a Clinton/Clark....though, IMCPO, a Clinton/Obama ticket would make more repuke heads explode.

16. Because her campaign... |
|
Has driven away the youth vote and African Americans. If she wants to win, she needs both groups to be sufficiently motivated to vote in November.

20. She's driven away the youth and African Americans? |
|
Oh puhleeze. Tell that to Maxine Waters, Charlie Rangel, John Lewis and all the young African Americans I see at all her rallies. People just want to believe she has DRIVEN them away, that doesn't mean it's true and I'm afraid it isn't true.

2. We realize what makes us different... |
|
...than the other guys tonight. We recognize that when we put down the bludgeons we had out for each other previously, we look damned good.
Although it's probably unreasonable to expect the "glow" from tonight to last, I'm impressed with what we have left, what we had in the Democratic field when we began, and I'm keeping my mind (and options) open.
How's that?

It is nice, isn't that glow. Both candidates looked great tonight.
The contrast with the bozos last night was remarkable.
What a moment to see an African American and a woman as our two choices.
Wow we Dems did it. I kinda hope the glow stays around and we tone down the tribal stuff.
But then tomorrow is another day.....

3. Sheeple following the leader. If their candidate is on the attack, they are on |
|
the attack. If Hillary and Barak look like they are going to get a room together, it's kisskiss nicey nicey here.
Me, I have my own compass.

6. I think a backround check of those writers advocating a Clinton/Obama ticket |
|
Might show a distinct bias towards Hillary.
Is it a coincedence that as soon as Obama is within 4 points in most of the national polls (where up to last month she led by 30%) that suddenly these MSM writers now think a ticket headed by Hillary with Obama as VP would be perfect?
Color me skeptical of their intentions.
I think they're trying to equate Obama as a perpetual #2 to Hillary in the minds of the voters.

just different sides of the same coin. Both have flaws that some find offensive, but can get over enough to have the other as VP. For some, who cares?
