7. Ah, a fellow depressed voter... |
|
feel for ya. On the bright side, there's a pretty good chance the contest will not be over anytime soon now.

4. The people who are still planning to vote Edwards |
|
do you really hate the process that much that you're just going to take your ball and go home? voting for Edwards on Tuesday is probably the dumbest thing anyone could do.

it is a primary - IF you believe there is VERY little difference between Obama and Clinton. Voting for Edwards or any other candidate is not taking your ball and going home - it is stating your preference. I voted for John Edwards on Tuesday - he has always been my second choice - even though I thought it was a long shot for him to get the nomination I still preferred him to Obama or Clinton and there was at least some chance Edwards might be the nominee and certainly he was driving Obama and Clinton to the left. But had I known that Edwards would drop out of the race about 24 hours after I voted for him I would have voted for Dennis.....
and as for hating the process - IT SUCKS SO MUCH - little tiny state like IA less than 250K dem voters enabled the M$M to firmly make this a two person race - and for that we all lose....
So for any of you out there who can't find a nickels worth of difference between Clinton and Obama vote your heart in the primary - and then come November vote your head to defeat John McCain.
We're going to a shit load more votes to overcome the swiftboaters, voter suppression and electronic voting....

instead of characterizing our choice as some kind of simple-minded childish thing. Those of us who will still vote for Edwards have some pretty good reasons.
Chief among them is a desire to register our dissatisfaction with the media/corporations who have limited our choices so early in the primary process.

10. I havent decided. I supported Edwards, now i don't know what to do. |
|
I may just sit out the primaries. Obama and Clinton are both great candidates. I'll be ok with getting behind either one in the general.

15. Was supporting Kucinich, |
|
briefly flirted with the idea of casting my vote for Edwards after DK dropped out, and now will write in Kucinich.
In late May, when the primaries limp into town to give a cosmetic flourish to what will, by that time, already be a done deal.

16. Gore, Kucinich, Edwards......and now........??????????????????? |
|
If I can write in a candidate by the time I vote..in May..it would be not the top two. But, I'm open to change...given how fast events move these days.

17. 85 votes... really hoping for a few hundred |
|
'cause this poll does what many here do not - if enough people vote, it may give a true idea of (1) how many Edwards supporters are still sticking with him, and (2) to which candidate his support is going in the coming days (among those willing to vote for Clinton or Obama).
