The thing that worries me about Obama
There are plenty of things that worry me about Hillary Clinton, mostly the tons of baggage that will be dragged with her into the election and the fact that her campaign has managed to squander what should have been an insurmountable lead.

The one thing that worries me about Obama is that he's wooden, sort of like Gore and Kerry were. While he is terrific at rallies and even at intimate campaign events, he comes off in debates and on tv talk shows as Johnny one note. A lot of people found that a turnoff with Kerry and Gore, and I wonder if that would happen again.

The vast majority of people see him as anything but wooden.

4. Actually, speech wise Obama and Kerry are FLIPPED
Kerry was absolutely terrific in debates. He flat out won all three and this is a fact, google the 04 debates and you'll see. Obama has struggled in debates (until this LA one he did much better). Obama excels in speeches where Kerry would come across as wooden. Just look at the DNC of 04 craze that started this all.

Kerry rocked debates! However, many times I would start thinking of other things during his speeches. I think he used to be a better speaker but all those years in the senate hurt him in that respect. The pundits referred to it as "senate talk". Obama totally keeps my attention during one of his speeches even if I have heard it a million times. However, during a debate I feel myself getting all nervous thinking "don't mess up!" the entire time. He has the correct information on his side but he is still trying to master the debate formats (shorten his answers, etc). Hillary is pretty good at debates. Edwards is also good at debates. I think Obama is getting better. Perhaps all of these debates that the candidates have had will really help Obama if he makes it to the debates in the general election.

6. "Wooden" that was a man "in thought" not glib & robo-rehearsed.
Is this your first or second time watching Presidential Debates.

Obama will skewer IKE-Lite, McCain !

Look how he "tied Hillary up in a rope" on her War vote AND the MORE important LEVIN AMENDMENT vote.
