Dr. Gupta on CNN compairing/contrasting health care plans |
|
Well, in the end, Dr. Gupta gave Clinton's Healthcare plan more checks then Obama's plan. A plus on pre-existing illness', and no one will be left out of coverage.

Once Congress and all the lobbyists have their say. I pick the individual whom I think can influence those on the other side to sign on to his plan and work to get it done.

2. Good point. I think that Hillary is setting herself up, promising... |
|
...something that she simply won't be able to deliver.
That compromises both her chance at reelection and Dem seats in Congress.

5. Are you old enough to remember when she tried to do healthcare in the 90s? |
|
It was a good plan, I give her credit for that. The plan had no chance for several different reasons (Whitewater one of them), but the biggest reason was the GOPs hatred of all things Clinton. They formed a formidable coalition to make sure the plan never got passed and they succeeded.
I don't see the animosity being any different if she's president. Might even be worse. I don't see that happening with Obama.

3. Right, Obama's is more corporate friendly and not universal. |
|
Clinton's sucks mostly because she doesn't allow people to opt into Medicare.

11. I don't get your post. |

Clinton's plan sucks, but Obama's doesn't because it is "more corporate friendly and not universal"??? Uh, that's what sucks about Obama's plan.

4. You mean the Gupta who attacked Michael Moore's movie? |
|
That's not exactly an endorsement I'd want.

8. Gupta twisted #s from Sicko |
|
Wonder who's paying him the big bucks? I wouldn't listen to anything he has to say. Nor Hillary. She sounded nonsensical last night when she was trying to explain her health plan. Tools.

|
Call me when he compares how many people needlessly die under the current plan versus the proposals

12. Well, Gupta did work with the Clintons in the late 90s as an advisor... |
|
I think that would perhaps tilt his opinion a bit, don't you?
