Poll question: To Clinton and Obama supporters: What will you do if your |
|
candidate doesn't get the nomination?
I'm an Edwards supporter, and I'm thinking about that right now. I'm just curious as to what the two remaining candidates' supporters will do.

3. I'm not sure everyone feels that way. |
|
That's why I posted the poll.

I was going to add a snarky comment asking why there was no place for the Kucinich folks to vote. But alas, there was one selection...Not to vote at all.Maybe Nader will come to their rescue.

24. One board that I belong to has an interesting take... |
|
It is a discussion board for members in my industry. There is a political blog. Naturally, there is a loud right-wing contingent. They were posting today that there is about to be a conservative groundswell for Gingrich to enter the race. These rw-ers love Romney but are going to be stuck with McCain, who they despise. Looks like something is going to happen next week, after Super Tuesday.

2. I'm sure I'll be a good little Dem and vote, but I'll have a hell of a time campaigning |
|
That's where I think my rub will be.
If it's Hillary, I'll give her the "Kerry treatment" in that I'll do my best to read books and research the candidate and see if I can warm up to her. Worked in spades for Kerry. Might work for her too.
But failing that, I'd probably vote, but not campaign.

Of course, I will vote in the fall for whoever our nominee is!
Anything else would be crazyness...
Either one of our remaining candidates would be a great President...
Unlike the Republicans!

Yep, that's what I'll do too, though I admit it won't be with as much enthusiasm as I would have had if Edwards were the nominee.
But putting another Repug in the WH? No way!

5. Our degree of enthusism will depend on what they say |
|
about Iraq and Single Payer. Doubt I'd write anyone one in. McCain is a nut. But, if say Hillary wants to rally the Democratic vote , its up to her.

10. My candidate is Edwards... and I don't know yet what I'm going to do. |

Never in a million years would I have thought I'd feel that way, but I do.

In all the years I've been voting, I've never felt this way either.
In the end, I will vote for the Dem nominee, though, because I don't want the Publicans to maintain control of the WH.
