1. *raises hand*
I'm not so happy about this. I realize any swing back to the left that may happen will necessarily be incremental rather than revolutionary, but I was hoping for a marginally bigger increment. I don't see which of these two choices is better.

2. Sort of
(Yes I can vote - I should add that to my sig)

I'm trying to decide if I like Obama, I won't vote for Hillary so I'm trying to figure out my other options if Obama doesn't get the nod. I won't vote R. either.

3. Here!
I think a lot of Edwards people are having a tough time deciding. I'm not sure I can ever decide between Obama and Clinton. I'll vote for John Edwards in the primary, and for the nominee in the general.

7. I was going to do the same thing and vote for Biden in the primary but
Biden has asked his supporters not to do that.

15. Then you should follow your own conscience
BTW, I like and respect Biden, and was sorry when he bowed out of the race. I hope he has a big role in the Democratic administration.

4. Biden is an awesome Leader.
I liked his solutions, his experience and willingness to lay out the details...along with his ability to talk on any topic with authority is great!

Im for hillary for much the same reasons.

Good luck chosing, If you were a Biden follower, he is difficult to replace!

6. Thank you for your kind words about Biden.
I am trying to move on. I lean towards Hillary for those same reasons.
And there are things about Obama that I like as well.

I guess I am looking for who is going to be the better fighter in the GE.
I don't want another 2004, and with McCain - the nominee is going to get alot thrown at them.

23. Obama brings more young votes, has a much better arguing stance on Iraq, and, can defend and argue
Edited on Fri Feb-01-08 07:25 PM by Levgreee
it's the things that are indefensible and you have to try to twist around that hurt the most... for example, Hillary's vote for the war... she can't argue as well that it wrong that we are there, convincing the undecided that a withdrawal is better than staying the course, because she approved of going in in the first place.

Furthermore, Clinton is disliked more among Republicans and Independents, motivating them to go out and vote if they wouldn't otherwise.

I feel Obama has a better chance by a very significant margin.

Its a much brighter outlook in 08 no matter who you choose.

25. I agree that Hillary has a relatively good chance
but I feel Obama is close to a clincher, the young voter turnout he's given is a huge edge. Hillary has a lot of stuff that will be drug up, from her history... rightfully or not.

29. Ah everybody has a history
Comforting thing is hillary's is already been investigated.

Obama has yet to face scrtiny Repub style!

Either one should win, But I actually think Hillary is a safer bet.

11. Good luck - I went from Gore to DoddorBiden to Obama.
My most comfortable place was thinking how smart a Biden-Obama ticket would be for this country.

Finding comfort on the open government issue now.

Again - good luck with your pursuit.

13. Undecided here...
and having on helluva time deciding which one to vote for on Feb 12th. I'm thinking that I will wait to see just who Edwards supports and then go that way. I'm just hoping that he endorses by that time, otherwise I'll just have to bite the bullet and vote for the one I like the best.

14. Me too
But I'm working through it. This is complicated by the fact that I really have nothing against either of the two remaining contenders. But I operate under no illusions ... the corporatocracy's agenda remains in safe hands.

Or does it? One of the things I see in both these candidates is the potential to, once in office, rise up. For the past couple of years, John Edwards has been talking like a man who had no fear of committing political suicide ... he just spoke his mind and heart, talked about what he saw as he went around the country. You get the sense he was finally free. There is something infectious about that. We can hope these two were so infected.

Hope springs eternal.

21. Me.
Last night's debate just solidified my feeling that I can get behind either one of them in the General. Each of our last two candidates would be awesome, and each has strengths and weaknesses. I can build a scenario in my mind for each of them to win, and each of them to lose. Our "primary" is over, so it doesn't make any difference in that respect. So, I'll just wait for y'all to decide (although I wish you'd hurry up! ;-) ) then get to work.

I like and dislike both of them in about the same measure. I would have preferred Edwards or any of the second-tier candidates.

Gravel if he's on the ballot, or write in DK if he's not.
