McCain Hatred - What does it mean for Dems? |
|
If you haven't noticed the Rabid Right do not 'like' John McCain. Amongst the more moderate opinion is that President John McCain would spell the end of the GOP. Ann Coulter has announced she will not only vote for Hillary but publicly campaign against McCain, if he is nominated.
How so? The Right has tagged McCain as a liberal. President McCain would carry enough Republicans to get the liberal agenda through Congress.
I can't see ditto heads rallying behind Hillary but I have don't believe this is primary stundt. I wouldn't count on a RW unity this time round.

When its Clinton vs McCain, they will vote for McCain.
They might hate McCain, but that pales in comparison with the hatred for Clinton.
I think we are getting hood winked again.

Rethugs are not bound by logic. They will bypass any logic to avoid a Dem becoming Pres.

Someone linked Free Republic on a Coulter thread this morning (at another site). So I went and had a look and HOLY COW! They hate McCain with the heat of a thousand suns. To me, that smells like victory for Democrats in November if he gets the nomination.
The religious conservatives came out and worked their asses off for George W. Bush. That's how he got close enough to steal two elections. If they won't do that for McCain, he'll lose to Clinton or Obama. It's sort of like my former support for Rudy Giuliani as their worst possible candidate. The more they hate their own guys, the better I like them.
Go McCain! They also don't seem to like Romney much and a few were even taking swipes at Huckabee - they ALL have problems with their own people. Works for me.

idiot-in-chief instead of admonishing him to get to New Orleans and help the citizens sitting on rooftops or since he became Bush-lite, even kissing and hugging the "moran," or especially since he has notified the USA that it will be in Iraq for 100 miserable years. EEEEEEEEGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAADDDDDD! As to Romney, just thinking about what kind of idiot would tie a fightened pet to the top of a car for 12 hours each direction insures me that that kind of unfeeling, miserable excuse for a skin full of urine (hmmm water) is better off inside a cage in some zoo (or perhaps on top of a speeding car)than on the campaign trail! It is also quite likely that Romney will choose Jebbie as VP, which is enough to turn my whole body scarlet. Of course I am a yellow dog democrat who would never consider voting for any slimy GOPer anyway.
