In national polls in their latest samples. Obama is beating both.

No link yet just heard it on the radio.

5. and her loyalists don't even care about the reality.......

Independents will not vote for her. Kerry did better than Bush with Independents and Bush still got within 5million votes so he could steal it. Of course, he would have stolen it even if he was ten or twenty million behind, but he's not running this year. McCain will do better with Independents than Bush did. And do better with Independents than Hillary EVER could.

11. This is one thing that drives me nuts about Hillary supporters--
when anyone points out that she's behind McCain in the polls, and that she doesn't do as well with Indies and Repub moderates, they don't counter with a reason or strategy of why she will end up being able to overcome this problem in the general. Instead, they focus on McCain's shortcomings, or on how much his party hates him, or they quote "Bomb bomb Iran", as if that will hurt him in the general. They know, deep down, that Obama would do better against McCain than she will, but they refuse to admit it. However, I do think she will end up beating him, because she's a skillful pol, and because he IS a weak candidate--we won't elect a 72-year-old, emotionally unstable war-monger President. But it will be too close for my comfort.

3. Yep. It's all over for Hillary. She's doomed.

On account of National Polls meaning so much in February with November so far off.

Obama should just skip out of Super Tuesday with these results.

Start measuring the Oval Office drapes.

Tony Rezko gets first dibs on the Lincoln Bedroom!

4. Was it within the MOE? I hope so.
In any case, we are a LONG way from the GE. There can be significant change between now and then.

8. Simply not significant at this time.
They are not campaigning against each other, neither of them.

I'm sure it was all within the MoE and not really worth anything more than something for the pundits to fill five more minutes of airtime.

14. This has been common knowledge for sometime. Edwards was,
before he dropped out, the only one who could beat McCain.
Some people would rather lose with Hillary, than choose a winner.
