OMG, I just saw a John McCain commercial in CA. |
|
I'm gonna puke.......:puke:
Playing up, "I was a footsoldier for the Reagan revolution," "surge is working," "a true conservative," will never waver.

I have no idea why he's so popular on the left or right.

2. I saw the same one this evening in MN. |
|
My reaction was the same.
:puke:
It's obvious he's pandering desperately to the wingnuts who hate him.

5. What, exactly, did footsoldiers do in the mythical Reagan revolution? |
|
And what made it a revolution? I'm very confused with this f'd up new McCain line. It's kind of like when Poppy Bush said, "A thousand points of light!" I would always scratch my head and say, "What the hell is he talking about?"
Saw that commercial here in Ohio tonight, too. I think it might have been a national cable buy. So far I've only seen Obama, Huckabee and McCain... but I'm in a March 4th state!

That's why I always think of it more as "bootstomping" and "crushing" than some kind of "revolution." :-)

8. You left out: beggars and infomercials. |

Oh, and no more Equal Time for candidates. When candidates ceased to get equal time, they started buying time...which is when campaign costs went insane. Thank you, Ronnie.

9. I saw the same ad in Atlanta |
|
It's not the candidate, it's the Republican party that's strong and rabidly corrupt, they can run anybody and probably win.

10. "JOHN MCCAIN...COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF!" |
|
Yeah, they just played one here in Iowa a little while ago. The caucuses are over!! Seems like they have money to burn all of a sudden now that he's the presumptive nominee!
