Am I correct that if you contribute under $250 to a candidate your name stays anonymous?

Am I correct that if you contribute under $250 to a candidate your name stays anonymous?
But over $250 and it becomes public record?

5. Your right, but I haven't checked to see if they raisd the rate for
inflation purposes...

It's been 200 for a while...
