1. I read in the LA times that they had a poll that was about to |
|
be released that showed that in California the majority of Edwards support was from those with above average income.

2. I live in a low-income neighborhood. |
|
My neighbors watch the evening news. That is where they get their information about what is going on. When I walked my precinct and talked to my neighbors, most of them did not know that Edwards was running. That is why they did not back him. He did not get enough media time and attention. Most of my neighbors do not watch shows like Meet the Press, etc. Many of them have the internet, but they don't seem to use it to get political information.
So, the fact that most Edwards supporters are high income suggests the broad appeal that his message has when heard. In fact, mostly high income people know about Edwards.

3. Your post just spoke volumes. |

I think that has indeed been the problem for the Edwards campaign.
He couldn't reach people who don't get their political news from the internet because the MSM wouldn't let him.
The asswipes running the corporations who own the TV networks and cable channels like Fox, MSNBC and CNN just love the way they can control the outcomes of elections. They are the ones who are "un-American".
