In December 1996,

Ms. Matthews is a native of Hinton, West Virginia, which lies at the bottom of the mountains down from Beckley, where I'm from. Her appointment was an enormous source of pride to the entire area.

Ms. Matthews took the trip to Africa deeply to heart. Her

Leaders of African nations who were used as props by the Clintons during the "troubled times" may have a slightly different view on the sincerity of Obama v. Clinton on African/American relations.

P.S. The Obama campaign should take note of a very - VERY - important geographical fact. Hinton's media markets include SW Virginia (votes February 12) and Kentucky (May 20). West Virginia holds its own primary on May 13.
