Poll question: Relationship that effected nation's security more negatively: Rezko or Jackson Stephens |
|
Edited on Sat Feb-02-08 01:31 PM by blm
Mr. Rezko is a small time Chicago player in the real estate market who spread some money around for years in Chicago Democratic party, including Barack Obama which has been the subject of many articles. No wrongdoing has been discovered yet. Some of Rezko's real estate dealings continue, some have ended.
Jackson Stephens (deceased) was a longtime national player who staked WalMart, brought BCCI into this country through GHWBush (largest terrorist bank in the world)and bankrolled the political careers of GHWBush and Bill Clinton, including the underwriting of Clinton's 1992 primary campaign. Jackson Stephens was named in the BCCI report that was released in Dec 1992 and handed to both presidents - the outgoing Bush and the incoming Clinton. Many of Stephens' dealings continue today.
Which figure and which relationship had/has a more negative effect for the country and deserves the most THOROUGH scrutiny as it pertains to our nation's national security?
Please display your ability to assess the nation's security needs on the line here:

Are you one of the Democrats who believes that BCCI and all its OUTSTANDING matters (like AQ Khan) should never see the light of open government?
Sibel Edmonds story is the continuation of BCCI - it is a CURRENT and ONGOING matter and one that a growing number of DUers find compelling.

you're not exactly an advocate for open government on these issues. And you always pop into these threads to denigrate them.
Why don't you do the same with threads that make derogatory remarks against your candidate, or the ones that throw RW lies against Clinton or Obama? Why do you always pop up when I put up a post that uses the truth to encourage an honest perspective?

16. My View On This, Ma'am, Consists Of Three Items |
|
First, that is a certainty this line will not feature in any general election campaign, which ranks it no higher than a distraction.
Second, that no good purpose is served by attempting to link leading Democrats at the present day to a scandal nearly two decades old.
Third, that raising this item in an attempt to claim conspiracy and collusion between leading Democrats and leading Republicans cannot be taken for serious political analysis.

If so, then you KNOW that BCCI and its agenda are as current as an hour ago.

Doubtless there are people who had stakes in the Studebaker concern who are still making money today, but that hardly means the Studebaker agenda is anything current....

Don't know how the poor Clintons managed to take being the center of abuse for so long from the Republican base being used for that dog and pony show.
