Has anyone been following the republican candidates? |
|
It looks like McCain has the momentum but he's being labeled the liberal candidate by the MSM. When has a republican ever been labeled a liberal? It also seems MSM is playing Huckabee as very Conservative and he and McCain are all of the sudden becoming buddies. This has got to be a political tactic. I can see them teaming up for the republican party. McCain drawing in a big chunk of the independent votes while Huckabee attracts the conservative vote. Looking at the number of registered voters I'm thinking there are 170 million just a guess and 40 million being independent with the rest being split between the two party's. It seems something is going on. If McCain is so liberal then why is he leading in all the polls over Romney and Huckabee? Could it be McCain leads because he is attracting the independents? I'm wondering if this could be what the republican party had planned all along? As for polling, McCain leads Clinton and Obama by 6 and 8%. Will the failing economy the war occupation have an effect on the decision of the republican voters or is it that they are so party loyalists they will vote party line. How will the independents vote?

1. I think we have been too busy fighting against each other |

to even notice what the Republicans are doing. I have been paying attention to how the Republican talk radio hosts, such as Limbaugh, are treating McCain. I think they will have to run McCain with Huckabee to garner the evangelical vote. Right now it seems to be a very fractured party with the top three candidates.

2. Indenpendents like McCain for some reason. |

He's seen as a "maverick". IMO he's a nice enough guy..but still a RW nutcase when it comes to policies.

4. They Are Under Orders to Use the Word "Maverick" Every Time They Talk About McCain |

The Mighty Slime Machine has chosen McCain to be our next pResident. GE makes more money off of war than they could ever make from NBC.
McCain/Huckabee is the nightmare ticket, because then we get stuck with Huckabee after the old geezer kicks it.

But then again I watched in disbelief as Bin Laden suddenly appeared in Oct/Nov 04 and Kerry's lead evaporated within hours*.
This time though I think "the Money" needs a Democratic victory (otherwise the global economy (outside of the MIC) will collapse).
* on edit: I say this "supposedly". I still think Kerry won in a landslide but Diebold etc fixed Ohio.

Admittedly less bizarre without Giuliani. His unraveling was spectacular.
