So I caught a bit of (former) Rep. JD Hayworth's radio show last night.
Sometimes the Phoenix Nova M signal is too poor to listen to so I switch to Krazy Konservative KFYI 550AM to see what they're up to.

Anyhow, ol' Foghorn Leghorn was taking calls about the GOP primary. Poor things. Everyone was just in a lather about how well McCain is doing, including JD. This is his home state, mind you. JD was apparently a Duncan Hunter guy until he dropped out. If you think we have some partisan bickering here about Clinton/Obama you ain't seen nuthin'. The wingnuts are just sick about McCain being the nominee. They call him Juan McCain, which I'm guessing is a reference to immigration.

The funniest call was from a bona fide College Republican. He was bemoaning about the lack of a "true conservative" for he and his fellow chickenhawks to vote for. According to him, they Ron Paul's economic libertarianism appealing but they can't stomach his unwillingness to slaughter brown people for oil and defense contractors defend national security.

1. Hayworth has the morals of a snake
I remember how he was a McCain supporter in 2000 up until the Bush Right Wing hit job in SC made McCain uncompetitive with Bush, then within a few weeks Hayworth showed up on TV singing his praises of Bush.

That guy is slimy as Hell.

2. The righties are ALWAYS nastier than the Dems!
Earlier today I posted that some nitwitt from NC has set up a vietnam vets against McCain site already! I looked at it, and it's downright disgusting! I don't like McCain because of his love for the war and his close affection for Shrub, but I really feel bad for him regarding that web site!

5. They really are.
Much as I don't want to face McCain in the general, trashing his military service is despicable.

4. My new fave is Michael Savage
He comes on after JD. OMG, he is a loon! Angry, grandiose, virulently homophobic and misogynistic, and liable to go postal at any moment. Last night he was on a tear about how America is becoming "feminized" due to people not following the gender roles prescribed by the Bible. He kept reminding his listeners that "I'm not God", in all earnestness, as though he was concerned some might mistake him for the supreme being. He really is that narcissistic. The weird thing is he broadcasts from San Francisco. San FranSicko he calls it.

I hate to say it but I'm getting kinda addicted to him. In a "car wreck you just have to look at" kind of way.

6. Oh man, Savage is just nuts
Yes, though, I know what you mean by 'getting kinda addicted ... in a car wreck you have to look at way...' because, I too, have done that with Savage. Like -- he's just so insane you have to wonder, "What the heck -- who in the world would listen to this guy and enjoy it?!" Insane.
