If you missed the "Ring of Fire " broadcast on AAR today,
try to stream a rebroadcast of the beginning of it. Mike Pappantonio and Bobby Kennedy, Jr. give the best assessment yet of the primaries that I have heard. They were high on praise for John Edwards and voiced their concerns about both Clinton and Obama as the finalists. They also want to see the Bush adminstration brought to justice because America and the next presidency needs it if we are to heal as a nation. Interesting stuff from two brilliant minds. I wish I could tell you more but I suffer from memory problems these days, but do yourself a favor and stream a rebroadcast of at least the first part.

1. "Brought to justice."
Now THAT would restore BELIEF. THAT would be a big CHANGE. THAT would give me HOPE.

What are my chances?

2. I posted this after the Bender and Papantonio discussion.
I just listened to a conversation between David Bender and Mike Papantonio, on Ring of Fire, and Mike is disappointed that the one guy who could have made a difference is out of the race. He stated that he likes Obama, but that he suffers from the same affliction that Bill Clinton does, the need to be liked. He said that if Clinton had investigations into the Bush and Reagan administrations, George W. would have never been elected, and that the people like Pearle would have been stopped.

Mike said that "frankly, he scares the hell out of me," when referring to Obama.

3. That's just stupid - to say that Obama needs to be liked.
He's the one politician I've seen lately who has no particular need to be liked - which is why he is so easy to like.

Clinton (Bil) - yes. And Hillary may need men's approval.

How will that play out in a stand-down with Putin?
