Maybe she does and her folks just don't post them?

Or is it just that she doesn't inspire the masses? I'm ready to be flamed but I think it is just a legitimate question.

29. Why?
You already knew you were going to vote for him. What is the frightening need to assure yourself that you aren't doing anything that requires courage...you know, like being the only one to do it? Or, say, going against the overwhelming will of everyone you know and lots of strangers?

I was just watching 30,000 parrots attack a peanut field in Australia. It's very safe and assuring to do things in large groups. Our national bird is the eagle. We save our admiration for the one who has the courage to fly alone.

46. Um.... not according to exit polls.....
Those in middle to higher income levels: Pro Obama

Those in lower income levels: Pro Clinton

Those with college degrees: Pro Obama

Those with less education: Pro Clinton

The more successful and educated one is, the more likely one is an Obama supporter. That's not me talking, that's the clear indication in the exit polls in every state so far.

The ones with JOBS and with MORE education like Obama.

6. She's not doing the "preach to the choir" rally business.
Her methods and tactics are more personal. She doesn't give speeches AT people, she meets them and answers their questions, in smaller settings. She's not a MESSIAH type.

We'll see whose techniques work best on Tuesday.

Hell, he'll be an old man before we're acquainted with him, at this pace!!!!

53. Don't get me wrong, we're grateful for the 750,000 MSNBC viewers nationwide
==When the presidential horse race heated up dramatically in January, both MSNBC and CNN, which also touts its on-air army of political experts, chalked up near-record primetime increases. CNN soared by 42% in total viewers, and MSNBC rocketed by 37%. Fox News was up by only 9%, but it has nothing to worry about: At an average of 1.76 million viewers, it wound up with 35% more primetime viewers in January than second-place CNN (1.15 million). Further down in the pecking order was MSNBC and its average of 744,000.==

http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117980025.html?categoryid=1019&cs=1&nid=2562

but it will take more than that to get Obama in front of the American people, often for the first time.

This started out with your point about tactics. It's hard to think of two candidates with a more different set of challenges than Clinton and Obama. No surprise then that she's out there filling in the blanks and he's dealing with a two-part scenario: this is who I am and this is what I'll do.

as a majority, that's why she's winning, and will win on S.T. by a pretty noticeable margin. Obama's a very energetic and gifted speaker that inspires something in EVERYONE esp. the youth crowd, but maybe in 4-8 years he can run again.

I really think Hill's got it sewed up.

59. I made it clear that he's not just inspiring young
but it's not being honest if we don't point out his strength is with the under 35 crowd. I wish him well, but I don't see him getting the nomination. It may be probable that he would fare better, but I think Clinton can eke out a victory against any of them. Sad to say that, because if John was still in this officially and had the support, he would clean up against any GOP and all DEMS readily admit knowing this, but we all have faves, and for that reason, and the media largely ignoring him, we are to choose between the first part African-American male, and the first female DEM nominee.

31. Well hell that is such bs....Obama has drawn big crowds but
what happened in New Hampshire? What happened in Nevada? What's going to happen next Tuesday? I hope Obama gets beat and beat bad......

Oh and I find it incredible that Hillary received 164,000 votes more than McCain without even trying, and Romey by 260,000 and these two campaigned hard in Florida, and Florida dems knew their vote would not count but they still came out anyway and supported HRC and rewarded her with more votes.HRC outpaced Obama by 288,000 and you obama folks say "means nothing!"

Yet when Obama wins SC with over 50% of the vote being African American the praise is heaped upon him like it was the greatest accomplishment ever. Now you are trying to associate huge crowds with winning. Last time I recall that happened Bush had Mission Accomplished pastered behind him....

Edited on Sat Feb-02-08 07:55 PM by agdlp
A little primer in math...percent means PARTS PER HUNDRED. I’m using 2004 numbers of registered democrats, and the number today are much higher. Given this fact, she is leading with an even higher amount of votes.

In 2004 there were 72 million registered Democratic voters. There are at least that number today. If only democrats should be voting, and using latest Rasmussen poll results, that shows Clinton leading by 8 %, the result will give 5,75 million more votes to Hillary Clinton.

http://rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

If using foxnews latest poll, she leads by 10 %, that is 7,2 million votes

http://www.foxnews.com/projects/pdf/020108_election_release_web.pdf

If using Gallup numbers, she is leading by 7 %, thats 5,04 million votes

http://www.gallup.com/poll/104107/Gallup-Daily-Tracking-Election-2008.aspx

If using rcp.com numbers, she is leading by 9,8 %, thats 7,056 million votes

52. Maybe Obama supporters have got to be inspired to vote.
I have read threads that say his supporters will not vote in the GE if he is not the nominee.

While us Hillary supporters have to know where she stands on the issues. And if she doesn't win, we will vote for him if he is the nominee.

I guess it's an age and income thing. If I was well off, or didn't have so much of life's baggage, it would not be so important to me on where he stands on healthcare, the economy, the price of energy, groceries extra. I could just bask in the glow of an inspiring speech maker.

when you're under 18 you get tired of seeing 60 and up guys running everything. now, that's not to say those 60 and up guys aren't extremely qualified, but the youth still feel that they're not in touch with the world as they see it.
