1. I don't believe in "turns" for anyone |
|
Republicans used "turns." My vote doesn't even take someone's turn into consideration.

I believe the best person for the job should get the job. Sadly, I also believe that best person is out of the race.

5. "Turns" is a concept that gave us John Kerry... and gave the Repukes Bob Dole.... |
|
....screw "turns".
If we had "Turns" in 1960, LBJ would've been the nominee and lost to Nixon.
NOBODY is "entitled" the candidacy... it has to be earned. And Hillary (and especially Bill) are doing everything to "un-earn" their nomination that they possibly can the past few weeks.

6. Democrats across the country will decide whose turn it is. |
|
They will base this on many factors but I hope that age, gender and race are not among the factors.

Surely there are more than two families in the US who can gain the Presidency.
It reminds me of dog shows where the veteran dogs are popular choices for Best of Breed, but if they keep wining it means we haven't been improving the breed - which is the goal in breeding and showing dogs.
I'd like to see someone completely new, who's not part of either parties establishment.

15. I thought it was the Republicans who took "turns". |
|
That's one of the things I keep hearing regarding McCain, and how the Republicans tend to give the nomination to the "next one in line", whatever the hell that means.
As for me, I don't believe in it. This is not a statement for or against Hilary. I just think that if the only reason someone is nominated is that it's their turn, then people need to take another look at how they're doing things.

19. They both say they are ready for the job. |
|
Truthfully, there is no real way we can determine if they are until they get there. Neither of our candidates have ever said that it is their turn.
