1. If they polled cell phone users people would be pissed. |

Can you imagine 15 mins of potential overtime to answer a survey?

2. I think so, I think it'd be very hard to poll ppl with cellphones. |

I have only a cell and I've not been polled.

And lots and lots of technically modern people no longer have land lines.
I have a cell and high speed internet (WiFi) and satellite TV, and that's it.
Why spend money on a landline I don't ever use?
Plus side is that I never get calls from telemarketers.
Down side (or plus side) is that I never get calls from pollsters.

there was just a story on NPR this morning about this.
Some people with only cell phones do get polled, because their names end up on lists because they've signed up for campaigns, party activities, etc. However, the vast majority of people w/ only mobile phones do not get polled.

5. Not entirely true ... we've been called for polls, but I believe |
|
it is because we migrated our landline numbers to cellphones (we did it a few years ago). I would assume others might have done the same thing.
