It's a crap poll, with crap numbers. If I was an Obama supporter and it showed Missiouri within 2 points while Rasmussen and other polls showed Hillary with a double digit lead, I'd be scared because the opposite of whatever ARG says is usually what happens. It's a great counter indicator.

2. That is total stinking garbage.
If I were them and I got those numbers I would have fudged them to bring them closer to reality.

3. He's FROM Illinois. Why is it odd for him to win his home state by a wide margin?

12. You're missing her point
Even as a Clinton supporter, the OP expects Obama to be ahead in Illinois by MORE than the 11 points the ARG poll gives him. He/she expects him to be winning by an even wider margin.

13. Oh, OK. I'm not much of a poll-watcher, so I tend to be a little vague on these things.
So often they turn out to be wrong anyhow...

4. I agree that ARG is crap
Edited on Sat Feb-02-08 08:34 PM by NJSecularist
regardless of the circumstances.

But a recent Survey USA poll shows Hillary's lead down to 4.

Clinton 48
Obama 44

But I don't think Obama will win Missouri like the recent ARG survey says.

5. ARG's polls have been garbage all year long
They should do the dignified thing and go out of business and stop embarassing themselves.

I do expect Obama to pull over 60 in this one and get the delegate bonus

8. It's a great counter indicator. Is this true? I don't know. But let's not get too devoted to polls

9. At this point, polls don't really matter
Chances are that nothing final will be decided for the Democrats on Tuesday. I heard (MSNBC) that Clinton may end up with about a 100 delegate lead but not enough to seal the nomination. What will go forward however, is the all important momentum, based on delegates and number of states won etc.
