We are at a defining moment in history. Our nation is at war, our planet is in peril. You see in your own lives; never paid more for college, never paid more at the pump. It's harder to save and to retire.

its just that people havent gotten it--that he wants to move the center to him instead of moving toward the center--because populism is usually accompanied by a kind of righteous anger instead of the discourse of hopefulness.

|
Was born to a teenage mom. His dad left when he was two. Raised by a single mom and grandparents. He was raised on love... and hope.
Obama: People say he's naive. He's pedaling false hopes. He needs a reality check. If you talk about hope, you must not understand the world; you must be engaged in wishful thinking.
He's addressing all the naysayers, and quite brilliantly, in my opinion.
