She is enlightened. She is smart. She is tough. She fights. She knows ALL her shit.

I will be proud to have her as president after these last 4 years. Proud and grateful.

However, I don't think it will be the potential transformation we need as a country.

That's all. But she will be great for 4, hopefully 8 years.

After the last debates, I gained much more respect for her.

15. Yeah. BTW, Mookie is my hero too.
Why is he such a personal hero of yours?

I'm just a run-of-the-mill Mets fan from way back...

20. Lived in Norfolk when he played there. I later worked at the AAA park then Mookie...
followed me to Toronto. He could have been voted mayor in either city.

A great man. His wife is cool too.

23. I see. You and Mookie are members of the same "karass". Lucky you.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karass

God made mud.
God got lonesome.
So God said to some of the mud, "Sit up!"
"See all I've made," said God, "the hills, the sea, they sky, the stars."
And I was some of the mud that got to sit up and have a look around.
Lucky me, lucky mud.
I, mud, sat up and saw what a nice job God had done.
Nice going, God!
Nobody but You could have done it, God! I certainly couldn't have.
I feel very unimportant compared to You.
The only way I can feel the least bit important is to think of all the mud that didn't even get to sit up and look around.
I got so much, and most mud got so little.
Thankyou for the honour!
Now mud lies down again and goes to sleep.
What memories for mud to have!
What interesting other kinds of sitting-up mud I met!
I loved everything I saw!
Good night.
I will go to heaven now. I can hardly wait...
To find out for certain what my wampeter was...
And who was in my karass...
And all the good things our karass did for you.
Amen.

He is inspiring. He is a progressive. He is persuasive, smart and would nominate great SCOTUS justices.

I would be proud as hell to have his as my President, ANYTIME!

I do have concerns, but after what we've all been through, it would be like Christmas morning after a long nightmare.

My fondest wish is to have them on the ticket, together.

She can tear up in New Hampshire responding to "How do you do it?", but there never has been ANY REMORSE from her over her continued support of the genocide in Iraq.

8. No offense intended. But may I ask your approximate age? Maybe you just haven't seen enough?
Things went bad fast in the country. We turned into a fascist cartoon of ourself almost overnight.

We are in deep, deep shit. Scary stuff. We need a lot of really basic constitutional adjustments just to even have the CHANCE to fix ourselves in a more meaningful way.

Hillary is a lot of things. Evil is not one of them.

She does have Wesley Clark as an advisor. I trust that he would try to keep the neocons from her ear at all times. I DO NOT trust her.

24. I am impressed. Perpective as to where we really now helps such reasoned attitude.
We seem to forget Bush in this forum. I've been guilty of this the past 48 h letting my emotions get the best of me. But I share your optimism - if you doubt it - see my signature. It may be a good attitude to have going into these elections.
let's support our candidate - but not feel it's the end of the world if the other one gets it. because it really isn't. I'll end tonight my posting here on this high note.
Again, my respect for this post.:yourock:

27. A Very Classy Message and Timely Example for all of us
Thank you Bonobo.

And even though I actually already has a pretty high opinion of Obama even though he wasn't my first choice (I wanted him to wait to run, and hoped he would be our VP this year and President for 8 years starting in 2016) my opinion of Obama definately went up further after watching him debate Clinton the other night also.

Though I still care who wins the nomination I am confident that whoever wins will make a really good candidate and great President.

I feel tremendous loyalty to the Clintons for things that happened for me and my family in the 90's. But if Obama is president I will wholeheartedly support him as well.
