For those of you Arkansas Democrats, it's another endorsement in the bag:
Lt. Gov. Halter endorses Clinton for president
Saturday, February 2, 2008 8:45 PM CSTLITTLE ROCK - Lt. Gov. Bill Halter on Saturday joined a growing number of Arkansas Democrats to endorse Hillary Rodham Clinton's bid for president.
"In 1983, the Clintons asked me to work on their efforts to reform education in Arkansas, so I have personally witnessed Hillary's hard work and public service commitment, particularly when it comes to expanding educational opportunities," Halter said. "While that was a long time ago, I know Hillary Clinton's commitment and passion for education burns even brighter today."
Gov. Mike Beebe and Attorney General Dustin McDaniel, both Democrats, have endorsed Clinton, who served as Arkansas' first lady for a dozen years.
