The fact that neither rabid Obama or Clinton supporters will ever |
|
defer to fact and/or logic vs hype and passion, just might ensure that we are watching as President McCain is sworn into office on Jan. 20, 2009.
Hey, JE --- can you hear me now????

13. But, never prospered ... and, given the state of affairs today |
|
after two Bush terms - we need more than hope/hype/same-old - unfortunately Gore has chosen, so far, not to run and Edwards dropped out -- needless to say, I'm not optimistic about our future.

4. Just follow GDP or Latest the last three weeks |

Search (if you're a donor) Obama and/or Clinton --- it'll show you what I am referring to.

DU will be 90% behind the nominee, whoever it is, by the time of the election.

6. This time, not so sure about that ... this is the most divisive, |
|
Edited on Sun Feb-03-08 12:12 AM by sjdnb
contentious, primary I've seen in my lifetime -- perhaps because of its historical nature - but, none the less, it has become nastier than any I've seen since my first really active primary season with the McGovern campaign.

7. ,Ridiculous. Is there anything stupider than actually believing |
|
that what happens on DU is reflective of the real world? It's not. And you must have missed the thread put up by an Obama supporter elieiting positive comments about Senator Clinton. A lot of us posted.
And JE couldn't even win Iowa. He just didn't have it this year. And Iowa was NOT about MSM coverage.

Hillary/Billary/Shillary vs Oprahma/Obamarama/Obamamania = Paris Hilton vs Nicole Richie
Only difference, the future of the country is at stake.

9. Again, the blogoshere is actually a tiny minority of dem voters |
|
it's people who are passionate about politics. Most voters are decidedly not that way. You just can't extrapolate from what goes on on political websites.

10. Excuse me, your blanket statement is not a fact. |

Some of us do post substantial, factual information in support of our candidate with little response. It's as if the other side doesn't want to know.

11. Fact is the Obama v Clinton factions are eating each other alive |
|
Clinton has the clout ... Obama has the hype and NEITHER is the best, IMHO, to lead the country.
But, long ago the powers that be decided the best was not to be.
Just as they did in 2000 when the election was stolen away from Al Gore.
I'm beginning to believe an all out revolution will be the only way to free this country from the grip of political/economic powers that keep any real change (aka equity, justice, truth, fairness, etc.) from coming to fruition.

K? I am a sanity ridden DU'er. Not a crazy idiot unlike some other people who would happily not vote for a Democratic candidate in a swing state.
