Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama |
|
This is how the two names appeared in a story in a newspaper - don't remember which one.
And I have to wonder how soon the Republicans will start referring to Obama in his full name, again and again.
I hope that his campaign is ready.

2. She requested that people call her that. |

Back when she was first lady. I'm not sure what the motivation was, but it was a conscious effort on her part to get the press to do that.

3. Well, she's Hillary Clinton now. |
|
But Barry is still Barack Hussein Obama. Isn't that adorable. Think how forgiving and magnanimous Americans can feel about themselves as they say it, and vote for it. Think how cleansing the whole process will be.
American mothers will name their babies Barack Hussein Obama Smith. Or Jones.

4. She did not change her last name when she married Bill |
|
but after he lost one elections she was "advised" to adapt his name. You know, women's place, etc. so she added the Clinton. And it is possible that she kept the Rodham. Many women who do take their spouse's last name keep their maiden name as a middle one.
