I always thought California would be more suited to voter for Obama than Hillary
I can't explain why but I always felt that in my gut. Several weeks ago when Clinton was up big in CA, I just didn't understand it.

Anyone else have that feeling or have a more scientific reason why California might go for Obama over Clinton?

Regardless of the poll, may the best person win California and the presidency.

7. Obama will get a PR steamroll should he win CA.
I understand it is proportional, but everybody and their mother has expected Hillary to win there.

Should he pull an upset in CA, it will be a huge boon for him, PR wise.

6. Especially since Florida doesn't count and Obama gets Illinois
Of course Texas is still out there for someone (or both of them) to get a shit load of delegates from.

4. The Clintons are popular in CA and Obama wasn't well known except by name
Obama tends to have his numbers move once he starts campaigning in a place --but not until they are exposed to him.

It's hard to get exposure in California. Despite that, he is essentially now tied in most polls in CA. One recent poll even gives him a lead within the MOE.
