I am voting REPUBLICAN for the first time in my life.. |
|
Actually it's: my wife / husband / brother / sister / aunt / uncle / friend / coworker / whatever, is a liberal / life long Democrat but if The Evil One is nominated he / she or it will vote McCain / Republican.
What's wrong with this story? There are a number of people on DU who say they could not vote for Hillary, but I can't recall anyone saying they would vote Republican. Stay at home, yes. Write in their choice? yes. Vote third party, yes. Republican? No.
Republican? Mr Smart, I find it hard to believe. Freep, Freep.

7. No, I won't vote republican if it's Hillary v McCain |
|
But, out of my family (admittedly not a scientific survey), most of whom are either independents or Republicans...
13 family members (not including me).
Obama v McCain 7 to 6 for McCain.
Hillary v McCain 13 to 0 for McCain.
That's my family. Sister, 3 nieces, 1 nephew and their spouses (10) plus a mother and "companion" (2) plus a one grand niece over 18.
Maybe the grand niece will vote for Hillary. Possibly the nephew and his wife. But that's not what was said at the last family get together.
But a number of the "younger set" like Obama... and would vote for him.
