OBAMA needs to include the YES, WE CAN chant in every speech! |
|
Last night in St. Louis he inserted a section on the word HOPE instead of the YES, WE CAN that fires people up so much, and it fell flat. Some people in the crowd tried to get the chant going, but Barack didn't join in and they stopped. (I think he might've been too tired to follow their lead.)
To those closely connected with the campaign ~ please let them know that people really want to participate, and the YES, WE CAN chant gives them that chance.

5. Gosh, I can't remember my fav chant... |
|
But I felt sorry for those people in St. Louis ~ waiting so long and not even getting a chance to chant. The word HOPE is just too passive to be fun for the crowd.

2. He may as well toss in "Keep the dream alive" and "real plans for real people" |
|
While he is tossing out mindless slogans.

...we believe we are capable of doing ~ cynicism is an excuse to maintain the status quo.

4. Too reminiscent of Jesse Jackson's "I am, somebody" chants. Obama can do it his own way. nt |

He needs to keep the people stoked ~ the popularity of the new YES, WE CAN video shows how people relate.

You can always practice your cheers in the backyard. Use pompoms. They sooooo make your cheers look so much better.

It's nice when the wait is worth it ~ participation is the key to that.

hasve the button. And it would be really good if he could ever answer "How".Whatever. Nothing original about this at all. It actually irritates me in its cultishness. Next they will wave lighters in the air!

It fires people up so they leave feeling inspired and excited, and keep the momentum going ~ lighters in the air would be great imo!
