Sunday poll shows Obama now with slight lead in California!!!
I'm going to say the Obama takes California by 2-3%. From being behind by 35% not long ago, he is soaring. As goes California, so goes the rest of the country.

WASHINGTON, Feb 3 (Reuters) - Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are running neck-and-neck in California, New Jersey and Missouri two days before the sprawling "Super Tuesday" presidential showdown, according to a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll released on Sunday.

Obama has a slight lead in California and is virtually tied with Clinton in New Jersey and Missouri heading into the biggest day of voting ever in a U.S. presidential nominating campaign, with contests in 24 states.

Obama, an Illinois senator who would be the first black U.S. president, also has a comfortable 20-point lead in Georgia fueled by a more than 3-to-1 advantage over Clinton among black voters.

4. Why is that dreaming?
Hillary Clinton was ahead in CA by double digits.

Then, Rasmussen came out with a poll--several days ago--showing that Obama was within 3.

All polls show Obama surging in CA--and other states.

Now, we've got this Reuters poll showing Obama ahead by 2.

It's obvious what is happening. It's exactly what happened in Iowa. You introduce
a large contingent of voters to Obama, and he takes over.

I'm convinced--that he's got the momentum to garner more delegates in Super Tuesday now.

Iowa was a microcosm of what the Obama campaign can do. It's going to be a repeat of
those Iowa results--right down to the unprecedented turnout. Iowa's turnout increased
by 100 percent from 2004.

Obama people--have a lot to be happy about today and going into Super Tuesday.

2. Did you see the roundtable on Meet The Press?
I've never been so optimistic about Obama's chances. The MTP roundtable
discussion revealed some very interesting things.

I said last night that campaign internals tell the real truth. Internals
were accidentally leaked in Iowa, that showed Hillary lagging and Obama
surging.

I couldn't believe it on MTP today, when one of the talking heads said that
internals in one of the camps revealed that Obama is picking up at least 1 percentage
point daily. This was one of the Republican strategists who had inside info
from one of the political camps.

Also, Carville is clearly scared about Hillary's. He discussed Obama's momentum
and he seemed resigned to the fact that Obama would continue surging until Tuesday.

They all agreed that the polls are about a day behind the electorate, which is also
better news for Obama.

I'm a bit more relaxed now. Obama will at least make this an even race. However, it's
entirely possible, and even highly likely that he will be the clear winner on Super
Tuesday.

It's clear that the Hillary pundits are scared.

3. Obama has the Karma .... and a Dead Show with some song-a

Grateful Dead Reunite Monday for Obama
The battle to capture California's gray-haired ponytail vote may be over: The Grateful Dead -- Jerry, RIP -- is endorsing Barack Obama.

Not only that, the boys are reuniting for a one-off show Monday at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco for a GOTV rally. GOTV in this case means Get Outta The Van, the cops are coming.

We kid, we kid. We love the Dead. Everybody loves the Dead. Iko, iko. And the political spin on this, not that the Obama campaign has thought of it yet, is that Obama The Uniter is the only candidate who can reunite members of the Dead for their first show together since 2004. Yes, that's a stretch, but it's three days before Super Tuesday and everybody has long run out of decent spin material.

Tickets were sold out instantly, of course. C'mon, if you're reading about a Dead show on a political blog you're too far out of the Dead's loop to deserve tickets. But you don't have to sloth about the Warfield entrance looking for a miracle. You can watch it streamed live at www.iclips.net at 7:30 p.m. Left Coast time. The lineup: Mickey Hart, Phil Lesh, Bob Weir will be joined by Jackie Greene, John Molo and Steve Molitz.

Red and white, blue suede shoes
I'm Uncle Sam, how do you do
Gimme five, still alive
Ain't no luck, I learned to duck

Check my pulse, it don't change
Stay seventy two, come shine or rain
Wave the flag, pop the bag
Rock the boat, skin the goat

Chorus
Wave that flag, wave it wide and high
Summertime done come and gone, my oh my

I'm Uncle Sam, that's who I am
Been hiding out, in a rock and roll band
Shake the hand that shook the hand
Of P. T. Barnum and Charlie Chan

5. The early vote may help Hillary, BUT...
O..mentum is building. The american people have known Hillary for how long??

Aside from the early states, the rest of the country is just tuning in and getting to know Barack Obama.. He has more growth potential! The only question is..does he have enough time before Tuesday... This could be a thriller....

7. I thought early voting would significantly help Hillary, then remembered Guiliani depended on it
and it didnt help him much, even though there was supposedly a very high number of early votes that were supposedly cast almost all for him...
