Has anyone but me noticed Obama's remarkable consistency?
I've been going back through his speeches and statements the past decade and his message has been remarkably the same, and this is of defiance of the tyranny of poll-tested cynical politics, hope, change, and unity.

His 2004 convention speech is the framework of his current candidacy.

It shows me he really believes in what he is saying.

Sure, there are moments where we all prevaracate, that's human nature. However on a fundamental level he is enormously consistent.

10. That's so true ...
And as Michelle said, the way Barack connects with people resonates throughout the crowds, touching voters. I recorded his St. Louis, MO speech, fondly noticing all of the points that he covered during his speech here in SC. He stays on point and, where ever he goes they get to meet the same Barack Obama. Obviously, this is working well for him. There is no need for him to change his message. He just needs to reach as many ears as possible with it.
