Poll question: Feelings on the Obama and Clinton sudden "romance". |
|
Edited on Sun Feb-03-08 12:46 PM by balantz
I'm asking Obama and Clinton supporters how they feel about the "romance" that was suddenly apparent at the debate.
They were at each-others' throats, Edwards quit the race, and suddenly they got "lovey-dovey" and were positive about the possibility of being on the same ticket.
Would you be O.K. with your candidates on the same ticket?
Clinton and Obama supporters only please.

1. I wouldn't mind seeing them both on the same ticket............ |
|
And I don't think it matters much which one is at the top of the ticket either.

2. The Clintons will dangle it to win the Primary. They will not put him on the ticket in the end. nt |

6. Either needs more national security cred IMO |
|
I think either will be looking around for that to balance the ticket

7. Let's say the nomination is wrapped up on March 4th. |
|
It's a long, long way until the Democratic National Convention in late August. Usually, the vice presidential nominee is chosen the week before the Conventiona and announced with a glorious roll-out tour.
Between March and August, I think the loser of the nomination will fade. I don't think that by August, passions will be as inflamed as they are now in the height of the primary season. So many things can happen, but I don't see the loser of the nomination's supporters still clamoring to be on the ticket a full five months after the nomination has been settled.
