The issues are serious and need qualified people: like Health Care.Paul Krugman article
"Mr. Obama’s health plan is weaker than those of his Democratic rivals, but it’s infinitely superior to, say, what Rudy Giuliani has been proposing. My main concern right now is with Mr. Obama’s rhetoric: by echoing the talking points of those who oppose any form of universal health care, he’s making the task of any future president who tries to deliver universal care considerably more difficult."

2. Mandates don't make anything universal
That is Paul Krugman's disconnect with working America showing. There will always be people uninsured unless the insurance is affordable. Period.

3. If you want a national healthcare plan - they make it WORK...
...without mandates, it won't.

Period. Other countries have shown this to be true - they WORK.

You left out a key fact about these mandates. The cost is subsidized or covered for those too poor to pay. So that argument is blown out the window. Both Clinton's and Edward's plan was written as such.

You ain't gonna get FREE healthcare - that means everyone else has to pay for YOUR FREE healthcare. Nap. Can't do that. That's what we have NOW.

Mandates are necessary. Obama claims he's the candidate of CHANGE - well THIS is the change that is REQUIRED to have the national healthcare that everyone claims they want in the US.

I think what they really want is FREE healthcare. That can't work. We need a system where everyone pays in - and everyone gets benefits. Period.

4. Hillary's plan is NOT Edwards' plan
Her plan does not have subsidies, it has TAX CREDITS. Did the Clinton tax credits solve the college cost problem?? No.

I have subsidized health insurance. I know what it is. Hillary is not offering it.
