I'm so glad that it looks like I will actually get to cast a primary vote that matters on the 12th :)

16. Rasmussen has been notoriously bad this year BUT...
Go Hillary anyway. I think she'll hold on to her leads, regardless.

A lot of it depends on how the poll is structured. Some are detailed, and other are a few quick questions.

1 point lead in California doesn't negate the other states where she has sizable leads

22. My question again is
What percentage of the country has landlines? Seriously... very important here. You're mostly polling people who can or want to afford to have both cells and landlines... IE leaving out the youth and poor vote.

26. The youth vote is notoriously softer
They don't, as a rule, turn out in big numbers. Polls are weighted to take everything into account. Which is also why they can be so far off ther mark at times. :)

28. Obama and the Youth vote may not hold on Super Tuesday
So far Obama has been able to get the youth vote out (except maybe in NH) - but up until tuesday all the voting has been done in one state at a time - Tues is what 22 on one day - I am starting to think Obama does not have the experience on a national level to GOTV youth wise - its much easier done when you have only one state to concentrate on. This is just a hunch of mine - I could very well be wrong.

Go Hillary:)

29. Not really. If you look at exit polling...the numbers, for the most part, haven't been huge
Edited on Sun Feb-03-08 05:38 PM by wlucinda
SC and Iowa youth vote was strongly Obama. The rest....not so much.
He does have a good GOTV machine in general...but you may be right about his youth effort.
