Clinton, McCain lead in N.J.
With only two days to go before Tuesday's presidential primary, Hillary Rodham Clinton leads Barack Obama by 14 points among likely Democratic voters, while John McCain now holds a commanding 32-point lead over his nearest rival, Mitt Romney, according to a Monmouth University/Gannett New Jersey poll.

New York Sen. Clinton is the choice of 50 percent of likely Democratic primary voters, while 36 percent say they will vote for Obama, the senator from Illinois. Fourteen percent remain undecided, and the recent departure of former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards from the race does not seem to have benefited one candidate over the other.

But Patrick Murray, director of the Monmouth University Polling Institute, said Rudolph Giuliani's departure from the Republican race has been a boon for McCain, who now leads the GOP field with 55 percent of likely primary voters.

Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, was the choice of 23 percent, while 7 percent picked former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and 3 percent supporting Texas Rep. Ron Paul. Eleven percent remain undecided.
