My mother voted today by absentee ballot
she is nearly blind and 86 in a wheel chair. She voted for Hillary. I think she really appreciated having the chance to vote for a woman for President. My mother hasn't waivered in her support for Hillary since the beginning. She and my father really liked the Clintons. I did too at the time. This time I worked for Kucinich and briefly for Edwards but I'm unsure who I will vote for come February 12.

It was cool to help her cast her vote. I'm glad we could have an easy way for her to express her opinions.

2. How wonderful for your mother to be able to vote her choice.

3. That's great.
I haven't talked to my husband's granny and her sis about who they're voting for. They're Dems all the way, but I don't know if they can vote.
Both are homebound and legally blind so it's anyone's guess. I'd be there to help but they live 13 hours away from us. :-(

They are 91 and 92, BTW.

4. That's wonderful. My 81-year old mother...
...voted absentee about 10 days ago in Illinois.

For Obama.

She and my late father campaigned for JFK, etc., although she voted for Reagan once and for Bush once. But she absolutely believes that Barack Obama is what's needed for the future.

It's wonderful that our Seniors are so involved, so passionate about this.

5. We all knew that....leave it up to the other candidate's supporters
to post bull crappy trying to out do something about an elderly woman's vote. They do it all the time.....making that other candidate walk on water, sprout wings and grow a bigger halo...for once --can't you people give if a break.
